John Ribble Exhibit

October 4 @ 9:00 am - October 28 @ 5:00 pm

Free
Ribble-BytheRiver-1-768x500

John Ribble, Maryville College alumnus has a passion for drawing. He has solely dedicated himself to the pursuit of art, and the lifelong goal of being an artist. He has built a career of recording the natural beauty of the Wisconsin countryside. Preserving the rural areas of Dane, Green, and Iowa counties before development overtakes them. Ribble works exclusively plein air, rather than in the studio. He feels the approach is necessary for the creation of art that can maintain its authentic connection to the land, while bringing forth the spontaneous and emotive qualities that can only come from having your feet planted firmly in the dirt.

A reception will be held Oct. 23, 6-7:30 p.m.

Masks are required in all Clayton Center areas.
