Clayton Center Arts Adventures Unmasked: Earthly Endeavors Children's Summer Day Camp
when: Mon, Jul 7 thru Mon, Jul 14, 2014
where: Harold And Jean Lambert Recital Hall
time: 9:00am
Schedule: 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday
Campers will use various art forms to explore their environment in Arts Adventures: Earthly Endeavors. Resources for information will include current events, environmental circumstances world wide and at the local level as well as folk tales and fables. Raising awareness and education of environmental issues will provide an outlet for arts endeavors.

Activities will stimulate the imagination; encourage creativity and develop critical thinking. Working together to produce an original twist on a classic fable or folk tale for performance at the end of each week will encourage teamwork, time management and development of social skills.

Our staff of professional teaching artists provide opportunities to explore ALL the arts bringing music, movement, theatre, play making, comedy improvisation and stagecraft to campers of all levels of experience from beginners through those who desire more challenges. There is an opportunity for children ages 8-14 to explore their environment, make art and have a fun summer! Each week will culminate in a performance produced by campers and performed for family and friends on Friday afternoon.
