“An Afternoon at the Movies”
            The Maryville High School Orchestra and Band present their annual Valentine’s Day concert, “An Afternoon at the Movies.”  Conducted by Orchestra Director Mathew Wilkinson, this concert will feature numerous pieces from your favorite movie classics, both from the present and past.  This concert is an opportunity for the community to support the MHS music programs, as it is the orchestra’s only fundraiser for the year.  Please join us as the concert will take place on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Clayton Arts Center at Maryville College.  Tickets for adults are $8 and $6 for children and students. 
 Musical selections include Pirates of the Caribbean, Themes from 007, Gladiator, Forrest Gump, and many more. MHS students Kayla Payne, Austin Loo, Krislee Twiner, MacKenzie Franklin and MHS principal Maelea Galyon will be featured in the concert, and Roger Murphy will add comedic relief as the Master of Ceremonies.  All audience members are welcome and encouraged to wear costumes, as there will be a costume contest during the concert!
