Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm 1 hour prior to events. Online tickets are available only through Clayton Center website and/or www.knoxvilletickets.com Online ticket sales end 1 1/2 hours prior to events. An Evening of Opera Scenes

Students in Maryville College’s J-Term Opera Scenes course will perform scenes from the following operas: “Don Giovanni,” “The Elixir of Love,” “Die Fledermaus,” “The Mikado,” “The Marriage of Figaro,” “The Pirates of Penzance” and “The Secret Marriage.” Delores Ziegler and Melanie Kohn Day are Artistic Directors

Delores Ziegler is an American mezzo-soprano who has been heralded as "the mezzo we have been waiting for" by Martin Bernheimer in the Los Angeles Times. Her career takes her to every major theater in the world and into collaboration with the great directors and conductors of our time. Many of these extraordinary performances have been recorded and released as audio recordings and on video and film. A graduate of Maryville College and the University of Tennessee, Ms. Ziegler is a professor in the School of Music at the University of Maryland and is teaching a January Term Class at Maryville College.
Tickets are free, although they are limited. A printed ticket is required for admission.
"An Evening of Opera Scenes" dress rehearsal will be at 7:00pm January 31, 2013 and is open to the public.
