Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm 1 hour prior to events. Online tickets are available only through Clayton Center website and/or www.knoxvilletickets.com Online ticket sales end 1 1/2 hours prior to events. Tickets are avaiable at the Box Office until 1/2 hour after show opens unless the performance is sold out. Tickets may also be purchased by calling the Box Office at 865-981-8590 or 865-981-8591

A comedy/farce written by Neil Simon
Four couples arrive at the townhouse of a deputy New York City mayor and his wife to attend a party celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary. However, the four couples soon discover that there are no servants, the hostess is missing and the deputy mayor has shot himself in the head (it’s only a flesh wound). Comic complications arise when, given everyone's upper class status, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening's events from the local police and the media.
Rumors is directed by David Ratliff. Rumors is presented with permission from Samuel French Inc. Foothills Community Players is Blount County's community theatre and is a resident arts organization of the Clayton Center for the Arts.
Showtimes: Feb 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Feb. 5, 6, 12 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15.50 for students (college ID and younger) and seniors (65 and older); $17.50 for general admission.
