Clayton Center for the Arts
From Lamar Alexander Parkway, turn into Maryville College. The Clayton Center main parking lot is immediately on your right. If the lot is full, you will be directed to lots on the Maryville College Campus.
On-Site Parking
The Clayton Center for the Arts has one parking lot that is located immediately adjacent to the building. The parking lot has 212 spaces. Thirteen of these spaces are designated for handicapped needs. Additional handicapped spaces may be designated for individual events at the descrection of the Center. There are other parking lots located on the campus of Maryville College. The other lots available for Clayton Center Event parking are located at Bartlett Hall, Cooper Athletic Center, and Fayerweather Hall. They are all within a short walk of the Clayton Center for the Arts. All parking is free of charge.
Off-Site Parking
The Clayton Center for the Arts is conveniently located adjacent to the Maryville College campus. There are many City of Maryville public parking lots within a short five- to ten-minute walk of the Clayton Center for the Arts. These lots include: Founders Lot, Depot Lot, Municipal Parking Garage, W. Harper Avenue Parking Garage, Sam Houston Lot, and the Hannum Springs Lot. All public parking lots are free of charge. Parking for some events will be available at private lots near the Clayton Center. "Clayton Center Event Parking" signs will be posted at lots when they are available for a specific event.
The Plaza Walking Directions
The Clayton Center for the Arts Plaza is easily accessible for all patrons. If entering by foot from the Lamar Street side of the Center, take the stairway between the two buildings. If parking in the main Clayton Center lot, go around the Art and Recital Hall Building into the Plaza. If entering from the Maryville College campus, take the descending staircase to the beautiful Plaza.
William Baxter Lee III Grand Foyer Walking Directions
The Baxter Lee Grand Foyer is easily accessible and is the first thing patrons see as they enter the main building from the Plaza.
Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre Walking Directions
The Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre is located in the Main Building for the Clayton Center for the Arts. It is easily accessible for audience members through four spacious and beautiful entrances. Two entrances are on the orchestra level for most seating, two additional entrances are available on the balcony level.
Harold and Jean Lambert Recital Hall Walking Directions
The Harold and Jean Lambert Recital Hall is located in the Art and Recital Hall building across the Plaza from the Main Building. Silver Spoon Express is located in the lobby of the Lambert Recital Hall as is Blackberry Farm Gallery.
Haslam Family Flexible Theatre Walking Directions
The Haslam Family Flexible Theatre is located in the main building immediately to the left of the Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre. From the Baxter Lee Grand Foyer, go to the left of the marble staircases.
The Fulmer Family Special Events Room Walking Directions
The Fulmer Family Special Events Room is at the top of the right staircase leading from the Baxter Lee Grand Foyer.
DENSO Art Gallery Walking Directions
The DENSO Gallery, is located in the main building to the right of the Baxter Lee Grand Foyer. The DENSO is a community and regional gallery. The Gallery is open 10-6 daily and for Events in the Clayton Center.
Blackberry Farm Gallery Walking Directions
The Blackberry Farm Gallery, along with the Student Art Gallery is located in the Recital Hall Lobby. The Blackberry Farm Gallery hosts professional artists as well as a Resident Artist once per year. The Blackberry Farm Gallery is open 10-5 daily and during some events at the Clayton Center.
