Tartan Tuesday 2024
March 25 @ 5:40 pm - March 26 @ 11:59 pm
Tartan Tuesday 2024 is Maryville College’s ninth college-wide giving challenge. During this special challenge, between 5:40 PM (ET) on March 25 and 11:59 PM (ET) on March 26, members of the MC community can join together to show how much they care about Maryville College by making donations to the Maryville Fund, the College’s top annual giving priority.
Wear your best orange and garnet on March 25 and 26 and help us spread the word about Tartan Tuesday in your own network. Post, tweet, link, and share messages encouraging those in your network to share their Fighting Scots Pride Use the hashtag #TartanTuesdayatMC and be sure your post is set to the Public setting.
Donating on Tartan Tuesday is not about how much you can or cannot give. It is about participation – finding a way to be a part of this historic day! Gifts of every size make a real difference every day at Maryville College, but on Tartan Tuesday, your gift can go even further by attracting additional funds, as we work to unlock challenge funds throughout the day.
If you are a student, faculty member, staff member, parent, or friend of the College, we want you to show your support on Tartan Tuesday!
To make a Tartan Tuesday pledge, please contact Meghan Fagg-Smith ’10, Director of Annual Giving, at meghan.fagg@maryvillecollege.edu or (865) 981-8191.

Maryville College Theatre Department and Broadway Center for the Arts present the Musical: Lionel Bart’s OLIVER!
April 18 @ 8:00 pm - April 21 @ 2:00 pm
Consider yourself at home with Lionel Bart’s classic musical based on the Charles Dickens novel, Oliver Twist. This featured Tony and Olivier Award-winning show is one of the few musicals to win an Academy Award for Best Picture and is widely hailed as a true theatrical masterpiece by actors and audience members alike.
The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft that he did not commit, the benevolent victim, Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family.
Join the Maryville College Theatre Department and Broadway Center for the Arts for a theatrical event that will not be forgotten!
